When water flows through the wye type strainer, any dirt, rust, or sediment gets trapped in the angled mesh basket, while clean water continues through to your system. The design keeps pressure drop low, so your water flow stays steady even as debris builds up. When the screen needs cleaning, just unscrew the top cap, pull out the basket, rinse it, and put it back in. No complicated steps, just simple, reliable filtration that protects your pumps, valves, and sprinklers from damage.

 

Q: Is this strainer only for water systems?
A: Yes, it's built specifically for water only. It works with fire sprinkler lines, tap water, and clean industrial water, but not with oil or other corrosive fluids. Using it outside of water can damage the coating and shorten its life.

Q: How often do I need to clean the screen?
A: It depends on your water quality. If your water has a lot of sand or sediment, check it every 1–3 months. For cleaner water systems, every 6 months is usually enough.

Q: Can I install it both horizontally and vertically?
A: Yes, you can install it either way, just make sure the arrow on the body matches the direction of water flow. That's key for it to work properly.

Q: Can I get a different mesh size for the screen?
A: Absolutely. We offer custom mesh counts from 20 to 100 mesh. Just let me know how fine you need the filtration to be, and we can make it to fit.

Q: Do you have these in stock?
A: Most standard sizes (DN50 to DN200) are in stock and ready to ship. Custom orders usually take 10–15 working days to make and deliver.
