Q: Do you test every single valve before shipment, or just do spot checks?

A: We practice 100% individual hydrostatic testing on automated test benches; random sampling is strictly prohibited. In full compliance with EN 12266-1 standards, every single DN100 valve undergoes a 2.4 MPa hydrodynamic shell test and a 1.76 MPa seat leakage test before final sign-off.

Q: Is the epoxy coating safe for drinking water applications?

A: Yes. The fusion-bonded epoxy coating (minimum 250 microns thick) complies with WRAS requirements, ensuring it is non-toxic and safe for potable water systems.

Q: Can we replace the stem packing while the valve is installed under pressure?

A: Yes. Because this is an OS&Y (Rising Stem) valve with an engineered backseat design, you can fully open the valve to engage the backseat, allowing for safe packing maintenance while the valve is fully open. However, following standard site safety protocols, depressurizing the line during maintenance is always recommended.
